The controversy over Google's (GOOG) collection of personal data via its Street View photo-taking program continues to grow, but the company appears reluctant to acknowledge the full importance of the lapse, saying no harm was done. Feb. 11 (Bloomberg) -- The ruble gained for a third day against the dollar, the longest rally this year, as oil traded above $74 a barrel.

Russia’s currency appreciated 0.4 percent to 30.1325 per dollar as of 11:19 a.m. in Moscow, advancing 1.3 percent in three days. Oil for March delivery gained for a fourth day to $74.85 in New York, up from $73.48 at the close of official currency trading yesterday in Moscow.
